Neighborhood Boundaries

West Park Neighborhood Association, Inc

West Park shall be considered that part of the city of Canton including Fulton Road south to Ninth Street NW north side to Monument west to 18th 25th Street NW south side to Fulton Road east but would be open to those who reside near these boundaries.


 
 

 
 
Organizational Purpose

The purpose of the West Park Neighborhood Association is to promote the general welfare of the residents of the West Park area of Canton, Ohio by:


    1. Maintaining the peace and good order of the area through the encouragement of law enforcement by means of effective crime watch responsibility and the education and communication of matters pertaining to the general welfare of all residents.

    2. Advocating and initiating matters pertaining to the maintenance and improvement of streets and sidewalks throughout the neighborhood.


 
 


 
 
Mission Statement

The West Park Neighborhood Association is dedicated to preserving and securing our neighborhood''s intergrity and history, utilizing the many talents and ideas of our residents, ultimately creating a safe and desirable community for those who ahve chosen to make the neighborhood of West Park their home
 
 


 
 
Membership

West Park Neighborhood Association, Inc

All persons residing in or owning real estate in West Park area who agree with and endorse the purpose of this association are general members of the West Park Neighborhood Association, and upon paying dues as provided for herein, shall become paid members and be eligible to vote at member meetings and to serve on the board of directors or be elected an officer. for membership. Such members shall have the right to vote in person at general meetings of the association as provided for herein and shall have the right to receive notice of all general meetings of the membership of the association. Honorary membership may be granted by the Association to any person not living within the West Park area that agrees with and endorses the purpose of the association. Such memberships shall include all rights and privileges as described herein with the exception of voting privileges.
